Amsterdam: Melkweg club

My friends and I found out about this place by just asking random people and cab drivers where would be good for some ‘Hip Hop and R’n’B’ – it was one of our best nights out, and not of the holiday – but of our lives. No exaggeration here, we thought it was a standard club. It was not. And P.reign from Drake’s OVO crew was playing a set at the time.

The night in particular we went to was called Encore, and it takes place every Saturday. If you like Hip Hop and R’n’B this is the night for you; the music was perfect from start to finish and the energy was amazing. A great night out for good vibes and dancing.

Melkweg also hosts many different types of nights out, with a variety of music genres; it also regularly hosts national and international artists – so it’s worth checking their calendar to see what’s on!
